HOW I GOT HERE

Helping me to help you!

Why I Do This Work

Whether you're looking for counselling to better understand yourself and your emotions, or coaching to navigate change and move towards what you want, sometimes what you need most is space to think, reflect and work things through without judgement.

Creating that space and seeing people make meaningful change is why I do this work.

My Story

Before retraining, I spent over 20 years working in corporate business, progressing through management and leadership roles before moving into leadership development. I led teams, developed leaders and delivered global talent and transformation programmes, giving me a real understanding of the realities and responsibilities of leadership — and sparking a lifelong love of travel.

In 2015, I took time out to travel and found myself reflecting on what mattered most. A long-held ambition to retrain as a therapist resurfaced and, after volunteering and further study, I completed my degree as an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. After gaining experience in the charity and private sectors, I opened my private practice in Hackney Wick. Supporting people through some of life's most difficult moments remains one of the greatest privileges of my work, and I'm continually reminded of our capacity to heal, grow and create meaningful change. As my practice grew, I realised I missed another part of my professional life — helping people grow within the workplace. I returned to coaching, formalising my practice through postgraduate study and achieving EMCC Senior Practitioner accreditation.       → Explore Business & Leadership Coaching Today, I divide my time between therapy and coaching — two distinct professional disciplines with different purposes. What I bring to both is over 20 years of business and leadership experience, psychological training and thousands of hours working one-to-one with people. I’ll bring that experience to our work, but I won’t tell you what to do — you’re the expert on you. If you’re wondering whether counselling or coaching might be helpful for you, I'd love to hear from you. Let's have a chat. Get in touch.

Outside of Work

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me practising yoga, out on a long walk, travelling, or enjoying a loud rock gig, music festival or fringe theatre production.

Fun fact about me: I hate cheese!
